Radio Frequency Channel Emulation Testbed (RFCET)
Radio Frequency Channel Emulation Testbed (RFCET)
RFCET provides automated and realistic performance evaluation of RF networks using a distributed Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) approach with RF channel emulation, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) emulation and signal impairment capabilities for Electronic Warfare (EW), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and communications applications and other C5ISR applications.
RFCET enables developers, testers, operators and trainers to exercise the full functionality of deployed configurations comprised of multiple sensors, jammers, communications radios and target devices in a variety of user-defined scenarios in contested and complex RF environments.
RFCET is available as a Service at your site or ours.
- Perform almost any testing in the lab/classroom that you can do in the field, as well as perform testing you cannot do in the field because of test range limitations, frequency/power restrictions, weather, TDY restrictions, OPSEC, etc.
- Closes the gap between training and operational mission rehearsals, enabling users to test and train on the physical and the RF terrain they will operate in.
- Apply training and theory immediately in representative configurations and environments.
“The ability to provide a holistic RF virtual environment, that incorporates the Soldiers physical systems to enable much needed hands-on repetitions is a game changer.”
