Division Program Financial Specialist
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground MD
Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking a full-time Division Program Financial Specialist to work for the US Army’s DEVCOM C5ISR Center on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with 5+ years of relevant financial management experience is required (bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Experience in managing financial plans across multiple projects to ensure established budgets are met and optimized over time.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing financial related forms including contract funding actions and military interdepartmental purchase requests (MIPRs), Contract Action Documents, as well as budget basis of estimates contained in 7600A and other support agreements.
- Experience reading and interpreting contractor monthly status reports.
- Experience in tracking adherence to OSD obligation and disbursement goals for various colors of money.
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex, forward-looking labor spend plans.
- Experience in planning and tracking all financial aspects through effective communications both internally and externally.
- Experience in reporting status of complex financial plans and recommendations to produce better business and process outcomes.
- Experience in managing financial tracking Excel spreadsheets, databases, and online tools including SharePoint and MS Teams as well as providing summary reports of essential information on demand.
- Experience in predicting financial challenges, identifying obstacles and issues, and providing advice and guidance on resolution.
- Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance upon hire (TS/SCI preferred).
Software Defined Radio (SDR) Engineer
Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground MD
Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking a full-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) Engineer to work for the US Army’s DEVCOM C5ISR Center on-site in APG, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual willing to pursue “outside-the-box” ideas and concepts to enhance and optimize development projects. The ability to understand and communicate highly complex technical concepts and requirements in embedded applications is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or computer engineering with 5+ years of relevant hardware experience is required (experience with embedded systems is a plus).
- Experience in accurately documenting software (requirements, flow diagrams, readme, users guide, etc.) and managing software bugs, features, epochs, sprints, and releases using tools (e.g., JIRA) is required.
- Experience with VHDL, Verilog, or MATLAB System Generator with competency in learning, developing, and maintaining existing source code and Xilinx based FPGA projects is required.
- Experience in Linux OS environment with advanced competency in installing and using software from Linux repositories and source code such as building a C project from source with Make, as well as using Linux command line utilities is required.
- Experience in one or more SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio, USRP/UHD, RTL-SDR, and Epiq SDR development kits is preferred.
- Experience with commercial communication systems and/or radar signal processing is preferred, and the ability to manipulate digital RF data with DSP algorithms and codec processing is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI Clearance upon hire (TS/SCI preferred).
